Union 108 Agreement of Confidentiality & Code of Community Care

Purpose

The Union Care Circle exists to ensure that everyone has access to the practices of movement, rest, and community, regardless of financial circumstance. In joining or contributing to this program, we honour shared responsibility, mutual respect, and confidentiality.

Confidentiality Agreement

By participating in the Union Care Circle whether as a recipient, donor, or facilitator you agree to uphold the privacy and dignity of all involved.

  • Information shared through applications, communications, or conversations related to this program is strictly confidential.

  • Names, stories, and financial details will never be shared publicly unless express written consent is given by the individual.

  • Staff and volunteers managing the fund will access applicant information only for review, communication, and coordination purposes.

  • All participants are entitled to privacy, respect, and compassion without judgment or disclosure.

Code of Community Care

Union 108 is built on the values of compassion, equity, and connection. By taking part in The Union Care Circle, you agree to practice care for yourself, for others, and for the shared community space.

  1. Respect & Inclusivity:
    Every member is welcome here, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, ability, age, or background. Our space is one of belonging.

  2. Integrity & Honesty:
    pplicants are trusted to apply only if support is genuinely needed at this time. Donors are trusted to give freely and without expectation.

  3. Mutual Support:
    When capacity allows, recipients are encouraged to give back in their own way through volunteering in their respective town with any organization or simply showing up for practice to support themselves.

  4. Boundaries & Safety:
    We honour emotional, physical, and energetic boundaries. Consent, personal space, and kindness guide all interactions.

  5. Collective Responsibility:
    This fund is community-powered. Each contribution, story, and shared moment helps sustain the larger circle of care.

By submitting your application/donation, you acknowledge that you:
